UMS secure contracts with Dyfed Powys and Merseyside Police for a community messaging system. After the success of Essex Police, UMS had visited over 90% of the UK’s Police Forces who were also interested in implementing a flourishing community messaging system within their neighbourhoods. It is noteworthy that the importance of being able to quickly getting in touch with communities for large public facing organisations has been growing in demand.
Dyfed Powys Police, the force with the widest coverage in Wales, has sought out the need for a community messaging system to help tackle crime and promote community engagement. Providing diverse location-based capabilities has made UMS Alert® a perfect choice to encompass the vast regions of Wales.
Merseyside Police, the 7th largest Police Force in the UK has also acquired a community messaging system from UMS to meet their needs for effective policing and prevention.
Much like Essex Police, our community messaging systems provide an easy to use platform to alert communities and groups distinguishable by filters such as location, interests and demographic information through a plethora of channels including Email, SMS, Voice Call, Social Media and Push Notifications within our mobile application. The diverse number of channels ensures that all crucial messages are delivered successfully to relevant recipients.
Implementing these new systems for two additional Police Forces in the UK marks an exciting time for UMS; enabling endless prospects towards enhancing public services and becoming excellent reference models for large private corporations.
UMS eagerly awaits to hear successful news from the utilisation of these systems and greatly appreciates the opportunity to work with Dyfed Powys Police and Merseyside Police.
