Another large water company starts using service alerting
One of Finland’s larger water companies, Turun Vesihuolto Oy, is a new customer for Unified Messaging Systems. At the moment, UMS has a steady foothold in the Finnish water market as the company’s solutions are used by 23 water departments across four of the six biggest cities in the country. This follows other big wins in the Finnish market like last year’s win of HSY, Finland’s largest water company, and the company expects these contracts to pave the path for growth in the region.
Previously, Turun Vesihuolto Oy did not have any kind of alerting system to notify residents regarding planned or unplanned service disruptions, and they hand delivered notes to residents’ houses in case of any water delivery malfunction. By digitizing their services, they can now send alerts through multiple channels and will have a totally different and much more effective way of alerting citizens.
-Growth in the Nordic countries is part of the UMS strategy to secure our long-term goals and Finland is a market with great potential,
says Espen Gylvik CEO of UMS
