Advisory: Limited Support Phase for UMS Group Alerting Service (GAS)
As a user of a UMS GAS account, we want to inform you that our GAS solution is now in the Limited Update phase and will enter into the Limited Support phase on 1 July 2019.
We want to make sure that you avoid any gaps in your service by planning for a migration to Everbridge Suite before this date.
What is the Limited Support phase and how does it impact me?
Once GAS enters the Limited Support phase on 1 July 2019, users of the solution will continue to have access to all previously published documentation within the product. The Technical Support team will also continue to provide basic assistance, such as password resets.
However, after 1 July 2019, advance-level technical support will no longer be offered for the GAS solution. We also want to remind you that Everbridge now only delivers new functionality and improvements within the Everbridge Suite solution, which replaces GAS. All engineering work including releases and bug fixes have also discontinued for the GAS solutions.
What action do I need to take?
Everbridge provides a comprehensive migration program, under which we can help you migrate your users, configurations and contact data to the new Everbridge Suite solution quickly and efficiently. The migration program provides a dedicated migration specialist to manage the entire process from start to finish. Please contact your Account Manager to learn about all the benefits of the Everbridge Suite solution, review currently available migration incentives and begin your migration. If you do not have the contact information for your Account Manager, please contact Technical Support at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will connect you with your Account Manager.
